For those concerned about the impending flu season, the government will be making the seasonal flu vaccine available again this year.

Except this year, there is a difference -the normal seasonal flu vaccine will be combined with swine flu (H1N1) vaccine as well.

“The 2010-2011 seasonal flu vaccine will include the H1N1 strain that was responsible for the 2009 pandemic,” said Vicki Monks, media spokesperson for the Oklahoma City-County Health Department.

Monks pointed to a February 2010 press release on the Flu.gov website that states: “Today’s recommendation to include protection against the 2009 H1N1 flu strain in next season’s flu vaccine was made by the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.  The committee’s recommendations typically guide vaccine manufacturers in preparing each season’s flu vaccines.  The World Health Organization has made the same recommendation.This recommendation will go into effect for next fall’s flu season.  In the meantime, you can still protect yourself against the H1N1 flu by getting your H1N1 vaccine now.”

Criminal laws dealing with many petty offences should be scrapped, according to the body responsible for reviewing the law in England and Wales.

The Law Commission said regulatory bodies should only seek criminal sanctions in serious cases, with minor offences coming under civil law, usually dealt with by fines.

It said “civil penalties are quicker and cheaper to enforce”.

Since 1997, more than 3,000 criminal offences have been created.

The commission estimates annual savings of £11m could be achieved if the regulators in areas such as farming, food safety, banking and retail sales switched from prosecuting alleged offenders within the criminal justice system to taking action under civil law.

In its report, the commission said: “If a very large number of offences are being created, but these offences are not being used, resources put into creating them are being wasted.

“Further, ordinary people and businesses are being subjected to ever-increasing numbers of what, in all probability, will turn out to be illusory or empty threats of criminal prosecution.”

The report’s author, Jeremy Horder, added: “Relying on the criminal law to deter and punish risky behaviour in regulatory contexts may be an expensive, uncertain and ineffective strategy.

Main Source soon set off on tour, along with the UMCs and Jaz. One particular night of that tour came up recently in the very public catfight between Jay-Z (then Jaz’s hypeman) and Nas (who rolled with Main Source). During a show in Washington D.C. the sound system cut out, forcing the artists to do the same. The angry crowd rushed the stage and chased the rappers back unto their tour bus.

“We were figuring we were gonna have to knuckle down,” explains LP of the incident, which Jay has used to attack Nas. “Jay came outta nowhere, reachin’ in his gym bag like, ‘Don’t even sweat these niggas. I got that.’ He didn’t show [Nas] the gun like, ‘I’m gonna shoot you,’ but we were all just like, ‘Whew!’”

In an attempt to create a safe society, men elected Governments to protect and uphold your unalienable rights and your responsibilities to the Creator and your fellow man. The answer is that you cannot server two masters, therefore the Government had to create a system that tricks you into thinking you must serve them, where in fact, Governments must serve us, the people.

One of the ways Governments and other regulators have tricked you into thinking you must follow their rules, is to create for themselves an “artificial-person / corporation” who is not you, but whom the Government has fooled you into thinking is you (See Natural vs. Artificial and Trick #4). But, so as not to violate your fundamental rights, they also have provide recognition in law for another legal entity called a “natural-person” (simply meaning a human-being in the law) with which most of your fundamental rights are still intact. So when you interact with the law, you may be represented as an artificial or natural person – you choose.

This concept of an “artificial-person”, a legally obligated entity, that appears to be you, but in fact is not you, is a little difficult to grasp at first, but if you follow through this site, you will understand.

Once the Government creates an “artificial-person” that simulates you (i.e. appears to be the same as you from your point of view), but is actually a contrivance of government laws and regulations — then they’ve got you, so to speak. And if you fill out paperwork and sign documents as if you were this artificial-person (create contracts), then they can make you totally subservient to all their rules and regulations:

1. Make you believe you are obligated to pay taxes,
2. Make you believe that you have to obtain a driver’s licence,

“By age 25 Scott “La Rock” Sterling had achieved what many people only dream of. As part of a duo called Boogie Down Production, he was on the verge of signing a major recording contract…and he kept a promise that he had made to himself. He, a young man from the South Bronx who had become a high school basketball star and had earned a bachelor’s degree in business, would settle for nothing less than stardom.

All that came to an end Wednesday when Mr. Sterling was fatally shot outside the Highbridge Garden Homes on University Avenue in the South Bronx.”

Fifteen years ago, New York’s adolescent rap scene was forced to grow up. Violently. The murder of Scott La Rock was more than the loss of a much-loved young man, more than the loss of a talented, up-and-coming DJ. In many ways, La Rock—in both life and death—set the stage for hip-hop as we know it today.

While he was alive, La Rock drafted the aesthetic blueprint for gangsta rap with the previously unexplored street themes and shocking imagery of BDP’s classic Criminal Minded (the only album he ever recorded). On the business side, his Black-owned independent label, B Boy Records, pioneered the burgeoning genre’s rebel entrepreneurialism.

“Scott would have been Puff before Puff, no question,” says Chris Lighty, a close friend of La Rock who now runs the Violator Records empire. “But without the dancing. He approached the music as a business at a time when most people just wanted to be down and make records.”
