In good company:
Chill Moody to headline the TLA on December 28, 2012
PHILADELPHIA, December 10, 2012 – When Chill Moody got word that he would be headlining a Live Nation concert at Philadelphia’s Theater of Living Arts (TLA) on December 28, 2012 he could have just decided to bring fans the “nicethings” that have been attracting their support all year – yet he chose to release some new music, prepare a new album (#RFM), and invite some of his favorite local talent to share the stage with him. The #RFM Album Release Concert will hosted by comedian Clint Coley and will feature performances by Philly natives Mic Stew, Mont Brown, Jade Alston, and Pate. The show begins at 10pm on 12/28, tickets are $12 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.
2012 has been a great year for Chill Moody. Complex Magazine set the stage in March, naming Chill as one of the 10 New Philadelphia Rappers to Watch Out For. In June he rocked the 5th Annual Roots Picnic and was noted by Billboard Magazine for stealing the show. In September Chill teamed up with Philly’s Hot107.9FM for his concert: Who Do You Love? – Live From LOVE Park, where he performed his 3rd annual Valentine’s Day album in its entirety. In October he performed at Power99’s Powerhouse 30th Anniversary show. Chill Moody will close out this banner year by collaborating with global concert producer Live Nation to headline the show at the TLA to celebrate the release of his upcoming album, #RFM (slated for a January 2013 release).
The audience for the #RFM concert will be a mix of long-standing Chill Moody fans, young professionals, music industry professionals, creative and fashion curators, college students, and corporate sponsors.
“I’m extremely appreciative of the support I’ve received from my fans and the city. I owe it to my supporters, the city of Philadelphia, and myself to close this year out in grand fashion. December 28th is going to be a great night!”
