Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Mumia Events
Peace.Next Friday, December 9th and Saturday December 10th there will be a series of events corresponding to maintaining awareness of Mumia’s 30 year unjust imprisonment and the new developments regarding his case.
I am emailing you in the the hopes that you will participate in these historical events, We the People Patrt I- Friday at the Constitution Center and We the People Part II– Saturday at Germantown Events Center. Please see attached flyers.
There are multiple ways for you to get involved with making these events a success; please respond back to this emails as to what capacity you can assist.
Tuesday, December 6th
-photo copying info packets
-sign making for car honk
-3-5 volunteers
Wednesday, December 7th
-packet assembly 6pm @ Calvary Church (48th & Baltimore)
8 volunteers needed
Friday, December 9th:
– Press Conference 11:30am @ American Friends Service Center (15th & Cherry)
-4 volunteers needed to help direct press conference attendees and see to various needs of participants
-volunteers need to report at 11am (approx 11am-1pm)
We the People 6:30pm @ the Constitution Center
-22 volunteers needed to help with directing attendees, signing in guests,seating audience members
-volunteers should report by 5:15pm for walk through
-all volunteers are asked to wear red
-ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST RSVP AT december9maj@gmail.com , please specify in the email that you are a volunteers
Saturday, December 10th
-We the People Part II 12pm-1am @ Germantown Events Center (5245 Germantown Ave.)
-volunteers needed for 3 hr shifts beginning at 10am
