***This is a public service announcement***

Hello there, I’m Eric Blair; you might know me from the “Hot Love Drama” piece or “Black History daily knowledge” or an assortment of short stories brought to you on this website. Today I am coming to my readers, commentators, and spectators for your help; yes I need YOU! I am looking for a comic book artist; before you grunt and mumble “Craig’s list.” I am coming to you all because you all are my audience; you’re familiar with my work and know I don’t get anything that’s lackluster. I am asking for you to help me by forwarding this link or my information to a friend or family that you know that’s a GOOD artist.

Okay, I am talking to the artists now; I am looking for a comic book artist that knows he or she is an “artist” like I know I am a writer. Not someone that wants to be an artist.  I need someone who’s just as confident in their work as I am in mines. I am not saying you need to be a Pablo Picasso or an Alex Ross, just be very detailed and clean with your work. I need someone that can draw anything from great facial features to cobblestones in the street. I don’t care if they’re a student of art or someone that loves to draw, I just want someone that has the drive to work and get paid for it. YES, I am looking to pay that awesome artist per-page for their work and I am not working on a twenty page book. There is some money in this project, trust me. *Insert wink here* Honestly, I am a fair man, one hand washes the other and if you help to bring my beautiful idea to life as a partner and I wouldn’t mind writing any project you have in mind for free. This only applies to GOOD artists that know they’re GREAT, wants to get paid for their work, and will work damn hard with me. The endgame is getting this project published; I have everything else but YOU, the artist. Don’t be shy, let’s talk; we can work out all the politics of payments and contracts once we feel one another out, via script and artwork. Do not misconstrue in anyway that my idea isn’t good because I am looking for an artist on my weekly blog. I have been in contact with a few artists and they were too busy or just playing games. I don’t want or need anyone to waste my time because I am not looking to waste theirs; I am looking to make something sublime. Are you?

Truthfully, I am dusting my hands off of dirt because I am done playing games; I am looking to win. If you’re looking to win with me on a great project, please contact me with a few samples of your work. Again, I am looking for someone that’s very detailed, clean, confident, and takes pride in their work. Oh, let’s not forget, someone that wants to get paid for their work and input on an upcoming project.

Looking forward hearing from YOU…

Now back to your regular scheduled Monday program.
