Damn… Its really no way this dude is capable of murder. Daniel Threadgill (more commonly known in Philly as 1blood) is a close friend of my younger brother and by knowing him personally, I cant & don’t believe any of this. Hes not even the murdering type… at all. Wouldn’t even even bust a grape in a fruit fight. That’s not the face of a murderer getting convicted, that’s the face of a scared kid being framed because he was the darkest one (yes, I know) available to be arrested. This is another example of the consequences of being a black male in a predominately white city (Seattle, WA) and even more specifically in a white Amerikkka. Hold your head up 1Blood…

Walstrand, who was also known by her escort name of Roxie, was found stabbed to death in her home near Highline Community College in August 2010.

Through further investigation of the information gathered from the tipster, the Des Moines Police Department identified two people of interest.

Working with the Sea-Tac Police Department, Des Moines police arrested Threadgill and McMillon-Cooper on Tuesday night for investigation of homicide. On Thursday the pair was ordered to be held without bail.

“One of the suspects was arrested from his workplace and the other at her residence,” according to Des Moines police detective Mike Thomas.

Thomas said the information provided by the tipster “was very detailed.”

According to Thomas, the pair had been on his radar for a while.  “We’ve interviewed both of them in the past and early on. Obviously they didn’t admit any involvement at that time or it wouldn’t have taken that long.”

Of the two suspects, Thomas said, “I can say one of the people knew her (the victim) and one of them knew of her, but maybe not as well. ‘

The suspects were booked into the King County Jail will make their first court appearance Thursday.

It was a Washington’s Most Wanted viewer tip that led to the arrest of Daniel Threadgill, sentenced in “the most horrific and cruel case” judge has ever seen.

Threadgill, 24, was sentenced to 40 years in prison Wednesday, convicted of beating and Jennifer Walstrand,28, to death in her Des Moines home in 2010

“In 12 years on the bench, this is the most horrific and cruel case I have ever seen,” King County Superior Court Judge Cheryl Carey said in handing down an exceptional sentence against Threadgill.

Walstrand, who was also known by her escort name of Roxie, was found in her home near Highline Community College in August 2010. Walstrand suffered 63 stab wounds and many of her teeth were kicked out during the attack inside her Des Moines home, police said.

Walstrand’s slaying was later featured on “Washington’s Most Wanted.” After seeing the case on the TV program, a person with information on the crime called Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound with tips that eventually led to the arrest of Threadgill and Syane Araya McMillion-Cooper.

Threadgill killed Walstand at the urging of McMillon-Cooper, another escort he was working with who had alleged grudges against Walstrand, prosecutors said.

McMillon was charged with first-degree murder in the case, too, but pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder as part of a plea agreement. She was sentenced to only 10 years in prison in return for testifying against Threadgill.
