IAmNotADictionary Phrase Of The Day: FBB (FaceBookBrain)
IAmNotADictionary Phrase Of The Day: FBB (FaceBookBrain) – Your FBB (or “facebookbrain”) is your think tank. The way facebook is set up, your think tank is your facebook friendlist. People without friends use the people on facebook that they dont know as substitutes. This think tank is what you use to think for you so to speak. You use your “facebookbrain” when you ask a question while appearing random which actually corresponds to a specific situation in your life that your “organic brain” cannot handle. People who engage in this process usually lack the power of independent thoth (or the ability to think for themselves).
Bonus: Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University believe there may be a Facebook-like network in your mind. Basically, there is a group of highly active neurons within your brain that behave much like people in social networks.
These highly active neurons do most of the heavy lifting, giving and receiving more information than the rest of the neurons in their network. On Facebook, there is typically a small percentage of your friends who update their status and page often. Those people are more likely to be connected to more friends, so while they’re sharing more information, they’re also receiving more information from their expanded network (similar to how those active neurons work within your brain).
So, if you’re concerned about having Facebook on the brain, don’t worry, because it looks like Facebook is your brain
