The People’s Tribunal is just one step in re-gaining control of our communities and our lives, for far too long we have entrusted our communities to those who don’t have our interest at hand.
This is life or death!
The People’s Tribunal is a day long event, there is no part of the day you can afford to miss, we strongly encourage participants to arrive before 12pm.
Tribunal Agenda:
11am- Filing of police complaints (ongoing)
11:30am- Coalition Introduction
11:45am- Tribunal Introduction
12:10pm- Testimonies
2:30pm- Speaker presentations/deliberation
3:30pm- Verdict/Closing
What you can expect from the People’s Tribunal:
* Assistance filing formal complaints against the police
* Information and resources on espongement services
* Expert witness testimony from Center for Constitutional Rights, ACLU, and journalist Linn Washington
* First hand testimonies of Philadelphia residents who have been victims of police brutality
* Information on Stop and Frisk and knowing your rights
* Learn and network w/ individuals fighting for the rights of political prisoners
* Learn about what MOVE is doing in its on-going defense for the MOVE 9 and their lawsuit against the City of Philadelphia
* Opportunities to get get involved with anti police terrorism work

Can I just say what a relief to find someone who completely knows what they’re talking about on the internet. You at some point know how to bring an issue to light and make it compulsory.
