The DJ:

DJ Qlassick is from all over. From New York’s Bronx borough, he’s been fortunate to live in Baltimore, the D.C. area, Delaware, and now resides in Philadelphia. The opportunity to live in a multitude of environments has helped to shape Qlassick’s scope in music and his understanding of how different regions have their individual flavor and sound.

Getting behind the wheels at the age of 11, Qlassick started out by handling mobile gigs up until, and through high school, where he did dances, house parties, proms, college parties, and mix-tapes for his friends. In college he took it to the next level. He quickly began paving his way to succes, by first gaining a slot at his university’s student radio station, WHIP Temple’s Student Run Radio (where he later went on to rise to General Manager), interning for Def Jam Records,Roc-A-Fella Records,as well asPhil Gates & Assoc./The Source, handling the bulk of events at his university, and networking his way into the local Philly nightlife scene. Having played the major clubs in the city of Philadelphia with numerous residencies and becoming an established reputable DJ in his city, Qlassick has also branched out to tackle events & the night life scenes of other cities including Atlantic City, NJ, New York City, Miami, and D.C. Qlassick has also been, and cotinues to be, a college favorite moving crowds of college students at schools the likes of Temple,Villanova,Cheyney,Lincoln,Princeton,Rutgers,UPenn, Penn State and many others with his “Rep Ya City”, “College Invasion”, and “Teach Me How To Party” annual college tours. A headliner in his own right, Qlassick has worked with some of the best in the business including DJ Don Cannon,DJ Touchtone (HOT 107.9/100.3 WRNB),DJ Wallah (Heavy Hitters/BET/HOT97),DJ Damage (BET/HOT 107.9),andDJ Diamond Kuts (Power 99/BET) as well as holding down shows, events, and parties for artists including CHRIS BROWN, NAS, THE ROOTS, WALE, RICK ROSS, TREY SONGZ, MEEK MILL, and NICKI MINAJ.

Keeping dance floors full no matter the occasion Qlassick’s specialties includeReggae/Dancehall, Hip-Hop & RNB, Old School, Electronic/Dance, Pop/Top 40 and just about anything else you can imagine for any occasion.
