About Master Shortie Master Shortie, born Theo Kerlin, is a self-made 21-year-old British indie/rap pioneer and musical trail-blazer, who is taking over the American scene, splitting his time between South London & the South Bronx. As a child, Shortie’s dad ran an East London jazz bar, and he grew up listening to everything from Prince to Aerosmith to Run DMC.

At age 16, Master Shortie nabbed supporting slots with American urban acts such as ATL at the Hackney Empire, the Scala and Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and toured the UK with fellow rock/rap rabble-rousers Hadouken. Shortie hooked up with teenage production Wunderkind Lab, and self-released his first major single “Dead End”, from his upcoming album titled ‘ADHD’.

Right now, Master Shortie can be found in New York getting ready to promote his newest release on Get Right/RPM called “Thank You” featuring the Cataracs & Leaf. In addition to working with the Cataracs, his newest mixtape also features Chiddy Bang & Outasight.
