March for Babies: Spreading the Word About Prematurity Awareness
Good Morning Family and Friends!
As many of you know I walk in the March for Babies every year. This cause is near and dear to me not only because of my family members who were born premature, but also because prematurity in the Black community is staggering.Black women are twice as likely as other ethnicities to deliver their babies too soon! Additionally, infant mortality as related to prematurity is 3.4 times higher in Black communities than any other race…
Can you help me reach my goal by making a donation to my walk? You can make a secure donation at http://www.marchforbabies.org/
JMWilmot or, if you prefer, cash or a check is fine, too.Your gift supports March of Dimes research, programs, and information on the larger level. On the local level, your donation helps the Stork’s Nest program at Roosevelt High School in Norristown where we provide expectant mothers with necessary items such as maternity clothes, pampers, furniture, etc. at no cost.
Thank you for your continued support!!!
Best,
Jenn Wilmot
