Last week I experienced a range of emotions. By now you know Osama Bin Laden (Aka The Invincible Boogie Man) is dead. Honestly, I do not believe Osama ever existed as a real threat to America BUT I am going to entertain America for the sake of this piece. I have been watching television for once because the “death of Osama” has been all over the idiot box and I was horrified from the reactions of people worldwide. The same people who yell for peace are the same people who are screaming for blood like barbarians. The same people that close their eyes during the blood shed are the same people who are peeking through their fingers hoping for a beheading. This is not a Roman Arena, this is America! When did this caveman antic become acceptable? People were cheering and setting off fireworks like this was a holiday or the end of Vietnam War. I understand he was supposed to be responsible for the fall of the World Trade Center but shouldn’t he been brought in to face his crimes against humanity? Shouldn’t he have been judge by a jury? Nope! Not in America, America is the executioner of anyone who doesn’t see the “American way.” This man was supposed to be a monster but at the end he was still a human being. I will not or do not condone the celebration of murdering a human being. At the end of the day, he still had a family, feelings, and a soul no matter how much of a monster the world believes him to be. I saw children to priest praising his murder. This is madness, honestly. Now everyone is all together with a roar of cheers; a big ol’ patriotic country. United we stand and divided we fall; guess what? Celebrating a human being’s murder, death, or kill isn’t patriotic. Will May, 1^st be a new holiday; “America Day”? Let’s see how patriotic America feels when more jobs are being cut, when unemployment stops, when class rooms in public schools are overcrowded, when gas is eight dollars a gallon, when taxes are at a all time high, when federal aids for the low income are gone, because our money is being used to fund more “anti-terrorist units” so America can have more barbaric gunfights in any random country. None of that is patriotic because our government is taking from us, their people, your children; you tell me how happy you will be when that day comes. Will you still be celebrating one man’s murder then you tell me who the real terrorist is. Prepare yourself because this world just became a little darker.
